Chart notes
SARGENT KOBE raced in the three path the first turn, bid nearing the three eighths pole and surged to the lead three wide at the quarter pole, drew clear midway on the far turn and held on under steady handling. GUN COLLECTOR stalked off the rail, challenged leaving the seven sixteenths pole and raced close off the rail on the far turn, dug in leaving the turn and finished well at the outside flank of the winner. ALLEN CAN DO IT saved ground on the opening turn then left the turn outside, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced in the three path on the far turn, eased out entering the stretch and came along to take third the final yards. NICKEL NICKEL tapered to the inside and rated the pace, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole, was met at the rail at the quarter pole, dropped back midway on the far turn and weakened in the stretch. RUN TO DAYLIGHT rated close inside on the opening turn, picked up the chase past the seven sixteenths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and showed little further. WHITE PIGEON rounded the opening turn about the four path, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole, faded toward the far turn and was eased in the lane.
