Chart notes
STAYED IN FOR HALF pressed the pace while two wide, then challenged the pace setter on the turn, sparred in the early stretch, disposed of that rival, was confronted by an outer rival in the final furlong but held on well till the end to prevail. EMPIRE OF GOLD tracked the pace from the inside under a steady hand ride in the early yards, then came out three wide to rally in the stretch and was closing well in the end. DARK AFTERNOON was well rated at the back of the pack while two wide, then bid leaving the turn and was gaining ground in the late stretch and was up for the show prize. SIGN OF WAR tracked the pace at an evenly pace throughout and needed more in the stretch. TIZ MAGIC led the way from the inside, then was met with an outer rival on the turn to duel in the early stretch then gave way in the end. PRAYFORPEACE settled in the three path, then bid mildly in the late stretch and came up empty in the end. SATURDAY'S GOLD raced at the back of the pack and between rivals, was in a hard drive then gave way in the late stretch. SIR STERLING was pinched back the start and lost chance.
