Chart notes

BE BETTER , in tight leaving the gate, recovered and settled well off the early pace, angled out under a ride leaving the far turn, swung six wide while hustled along into the lane, leveled off to a nice stride under right handed asks in mid stretch, forged past rivals to his inside with a sixteenth to go and drew out. VANCE SCHOLARS settled in the clear in mid pack, edged up two wide under asking into the stretch, dropped in towards the rail past the furlong grounds, threatened inside foes and kept on gamely to be second best. BOB MARCO , off a bit slow, was used five wide outside runners to take over and clear around the first turn, dropped in and set a brisk pace, raced off the inside maintaining the advantage in upper stretch, failed to contain challenges from both sides nearing the sixteenth pole and weakened late. AIN'T DA BEER COLD took over between runners into the first turn then briefly cleared, ceded to BOB MARCO past the seven eighths, angled out and stalked, was under pressure pursuing four wide into the lane, closed in a bit near mid stretch, failed to kick on leaving the sixteenth marker and faded. MARTINI MARTIN , off the pace and between runners into the far turn, angled in to make some progress leaving the five sixteenths but failed to sustain through the drive. YODEL E. A. WHO lagged back off the pace, raced two wide into the lane, shifted out a bit but failed to threaten. ELDEST SON , to the inside of a rival chasing near the half, angled out, remained in touch four wide under a ride into the lane, failed to go on nearing mid stretch and faded. DATS MR. MO gave early chase while saving ground, dropped back through the backstretch run, angled out for the drive and failed to menace. OUTLIER , four wide between runners nearing the seven eighths, checked sharply soon after, regrouped to pursue outside ELDEST SON, stayed on to the far turn then gave way.
