Chart notes
STORM CATCHER was sent along near the rail to take command early, raced just off the inside in the lane and held game to prove best under steady handling. HARD CANDY dropped back early, made a good rail bid and closed in on the winner late. WESTCOAST BREEZE prompt the early pace two deep from the outside of rival and kept on willingly to the wire. DRAG MALIBU was hustled, raced four wide between near the quarter pole and had not enough in the drive. HE BLUE BAYOU stalked early, raced four to five wide around the far turn and had no closing bid while racing from the outside. MY CALANTE saved ground and never threatened. MAJOR PAYNE failed to menace.
