Chart notes
COUNTERSPY controlled the pace, repelled a challenge on the final turn, pulled away again and remained safe driving. ROADTRIPTONOWHERE stalked the pacesetter inside, angled out on the final turn, bid then continued gamely to the wire. MY IMAGINATION trailed early then passed rivals along the inside. LAST ROMANCE settled in the two path, made a brief rally on the final turn then weakened. MALIBU STAR prompted the winner between rivals and was finished by the three eighths pole. NONEEDTOWORRY dropped far behind inside and was always outrun. BIG BOYS ANSWER chased pacesetter three wide for half a mile and stopped.
