Chart notes
PORK CHOP PETE accelerated to the front nearing the seven sixteenths pole and rated the pace, rounded the turn near the rail, came under pressure entering the stretch and held on well. INDICATOR settled off the pace early on, bid nearing the five sixteenths pole and reached challenging position approaching the head of the lane, but had no further response in the stretch, despite steady encouragement. SEA OF TRANQUILITY chased through the backstretch, raced near the rail on the turn, flattened later yards but held on for third. GREATEST NOTION gave chase, rounded the turn off the rail and showed little in the lane. TUP'S TO TAKE broke a step slow then angled to the outside to give chase and raced in the five path on the turn. CEDAR RUNS FIBER gave chase then faded in the three path on the turn.
