Chart notes
QUANTICO CREEK stalked two deep then took over at the seven sixteenths pole, was urged away toward the far turn then kept alert in the lane. KATALIMA saved ground, picked up the chase leaving the three eighths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn then dueled through the stretch for second. VICTORY ROYALE raced off the rail the first turn, left the turn outside and gave chase toward the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn in the four path and was outfinished in the stretch duel for second. BOUNDTOBEOK rated a slim lead inside, came under pressure past the half mile pole and was met at the seven sixteenths, gave chase from that point but dropped back leaving the five sixteenths, rounded the far turn off the rail and weakened in the lane.
