Chart notes
SERPICO R S S set a pressured early pace, went four wide through the turn, opened up and stayed clear for the win. ATTILAS GAL was up close early, raced five wide through the turn, weakened late and held for 2nd. MICKEYS GOLD was allowed to settle early, raced three wide into the turn, was gaining late and was along for third. STAFFORD TO KUPP pressed the early pace while racing six wide and faded. NOGAL CANYON was reserved early from between rivals and was empty late. INDIAN NIGHTS stalked the early pace from the inside and flattened out. D C GUN RUNNER was outrun early, raced seven wide through the turn and offered no late rally. CHA CHING CHARLIE was off slow, was unhurried early and never recovered.
