DOO WOP DON allowed to settle away from the start, guided two wide into the first turn and unhurried through the backstretch run, taken outside of rivals into the second turn, was roused five wide at the quarter marker and loomed into upper stretch, vied for the lead four wide at the furlong pole, dueled outside of a pair of rivals into the final sixteenth, fought gamely into deep stretch and prevailed at the wire for a determined win. ANITANEWMERCEDES forwardly placed leaving the start, went four wide into the first turn and maintained an outside path into the backstretch run, tracked the decent pace to the half-mile pole, chased four wide into the far turn and improved position at the quarter marker, vied for the lead into upper stretch and took a narrow advantage at the furlong marker, dueled between rivals into the final sixteenth, battled gamely to deep stretch and just missed for the win at the finish, while just holding for place honors. DULAS (IRE) off a step slowly away from the start, was allowed to settle in the early going and saved ground into the backstretch run, tracked the decent pace heading to the half-mile marker, saved all of the ground into the second turn then was boxed in nearing the quarter pole, found room into upper stretch and vied for the lead at the furlong marker, dueled inside a pair of rivals into the final sixteenth, fought gamely to deep stretch and just missed for the win and place, while holding clear for the show. KINGMEISTER allowed to settle while never far back, saved ground into the first turn, was well placed into the backstretch run and tracked the decent pace nearing the half-mile marker, chased two wide into the far turn, waited for racing room at the quarter marker, shifted out into the stretch and was outkicked approaching the furlong marker, stayed on into the final sixteenth and passed tiring rivals in deep stretch. ORIGINAL broke alertly, was prominent away from the start and stalked the pace two wide into the first turn, attended to the decent pace through the backstretch run, pressed between rivals into the far turn and vied for the lead at the quarter pole, battled into upper stretch, could not keep pace past the furlong marker and gave way. LAW ABIDING forwardly placed away from the start, stalked the early pace three wide into the first turn, raced close up to the decent pace while three wide nearing the half-mile marker, chased three wide into the second turn and vied for the lead at the quarter pole, dropped back in upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong. MOHAWK KING (IRE) assumed command away from the start, showed the way into the first turn and set the pace into the backstretch run, carved out decent fractions heading to the half-mile pole, came under pressure nearing the quarter marker, was overtaken into upper stretch and faded in the lane.
