Chart notes
GLOBES raced well back two and three wide, swung six wide turning for home, closed outside, took over nearing the sixteenth pole and forged ahead under a drive. MUFRIH raced off the pace two wide, advanced four wide around the far turn, took the lead in midstretch, could not withstand the winner but held well clear of the rest. EYES OF CHAMPION raced off the pace two and three wide and was along for the show. MISTER MOORE saved ground off the pace, made a rail bid in midstretch and flattened out in the final furlong. MIDWAY MISCHIEF saved ground and failed to menace. IMPRESSIVE SPEED trailed inside, swung seven side in upper stretch and passed tiring rivals. ARAK raced off the duel in the clear two and three wide, took the lead near the quarter pole, continued on the left lead in the lane and tired. SWATH dueled two wide, drew clear and angled in nearing the far turn and faltered near the quarter pole. KINGDOM ON PAWS dueled inside around the first turn, angled out entering the far turn, chased around that bend and came up empty in the lane.
