Chart notes
SPUNMAN rounded the opening turn in the four path, left the turn outside and started his bid nearing the three eighths pole, raced in the five path on the far turn, dug in leaving the turn and got up the final strides. CAJUN JOE rated a clear lead inside, came under pressure approaching the five sixteenths pole and contested the advantage at the rail on the far turn, dueled leaving the turn and held on for second while outfinished for the win. HOT FUDGE SONDE settled in the four path the opening turn, picked up the chase past the seven sixteenths pole, raced at a close disadvantage two deep on the far turn then outfinished in the duel through the stretch. XCELLENT START saved ground racing well back, gave chase leaving the half mile pole, raced off the rail on the far turn and passed a rival in the lane. GOLDEN ADAGE saved ground on the first turn, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail and showed little in the lane. JAZZ WITH DENIS rounded the opening turn about the three path, picked up the chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole and showed little response through the backstretch.
