Chart notes
LIGHTNIN RUNNER took over immediately and rated the pace, came under pressure approaching the five sixteenths pole, cleared MOONLIT SHADOW at the quarter pole and was steadily handled to hold on well. The latter stalked off the rail then challenged toward the three eighths pole, but dropped back at the quarter and had to settle for second best. THE SKY IS FALLING saved ground on the first turn, picked up the chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail, eased outward leaving the turn and came along to take third the final yards. JUBA'S PARADE saved ground off the pace, gave chase from the three eighths pole and rounded the far turn near the rail, drifted leaving the turn and flattened in the lane. SENECA ROCKS rounded the opening turn about the three path, moved to the outside past the half mile pole and gave chase from the seven sixteenths, raced in the three path on the far turn but showed little more. ALPINE MOON settled in the three path the first turn, left the turn outside and picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced in the four path on the far turn and weakened widest in the lane.
