MAMBO KITTEN was bumped from her outside then in tight at the start, trailed early, rallied inside rivals under right handed urging into the stretch drawing on even terms for the lead nearing the furlong marker, was struck once with a left handed crop at the sixteenth pole, drifted out from the three to the five path under a hand ride nearing the wire bumping the runner up and got up in the final strides. ONE NIGHT STAND bumped at the start, pressed the pace two wide for a half, took the lead entering the stretch while drifting out to the five path, battled the length of the stretch, drifted in slightly nearing the wire, was bumped by the winner and just missed hanging on. MISS SHADY away alertly, set the pace to the top of the stretch and faded late. IRON BERTIE bumped at the start and was no factor. LUCKY ROAD had brief speed. THE RIDER OF ONE NIGHT STAND LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF THE WINNER FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE NEAR THE WIRE. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS UPHELD THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
