Chart notes
LAUTREC stalked the pace into the far turn, responded readily to make the lead three wide at the top of the stretch under left handed urging and drew away late under a strong hand ride. FRANCO unhurried early, closed willingly four wide into the stretch and finished second best. AMERICAN NIGHTMARE pressed the pace two wide into the far turn, made the lead near the quarter pole, was headed entering the stretch, kept on but was outfinished. GILES was no threat. DUEL FUEL failed to menace. GEMO RAIN away alertly, set the pace along the inside for six furlongs and gave way late.
