Chart notes
CAUTELOSO chased wide off the pace, advanced on the turn, brushed foe in midstretch and was up following a long drive. VESELSKY outrun early, moved with winner on the turn, brushed with that rival in the stretch but was outfinished. T'WAS THE NIGHT went after the pacesetter on the turn and continued gamely to the wire. BUBBY PAPERMAKER lagged far behind then finished well along the inside. ON THE CHILL quickly sprinted away, was collared into the stretch and gave way. ROLLIN DEEP was urged within range inside early then stopped abruptly. MCCHAYNE dropped back outside and was always outrun. A claim of foul by the second finisher against the winner for interference in the stretch was dismissed. PER RULING #ECM2024-181 FROM HIWU, CAUTELOSO WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM 1st TO UNPLACED DUE TO A POSITIVE TEST.
