DESPERATE MAN , kept in the four path on the turn while setting the pace, was put to the whip in upper stretch and increased his advantage through the lane. NOW N LATER GATOR stalked the pace down the backstretch, circled the turn four to five wide, angled wider at the head of the stretch and rallied. TRACK ROBBER prompted the pace inside the winner for three furlongs, swung wide turning for home and weakened. GONZAGA BAY had a mild move inside horses entering the turn and weakened. HATAGASAL , a brief factor inside horses early, failed to keep pace on the turn and swung wide approaching the stretch. MARVELOUS MARK , outrun, stayed near the inner rail on the turn. RAIDER NATION trailed.
