Chart notes
BROKEN SPUR broke a bit awkwardly, set the pace along the rail, drifted out a bit late and held safe under confident handling. CLASSIC MO TOWN stalked the pace from the rail, tipped two wide in upper stretch and finished well to to just miss. BACKCHAT saved ground off the pace, swung four wide in upper stretch and rallied for the show. ITALIAN SYMPHONY chased the pace two and three wide and was one-paced through the lane. VICTORS VALIANT prompted the winner two wide and weakened in the drive. GAMBLING HOLIDAY settled off the early pace two wide, made progress four deep rounding the far turn but came up empty in the lane.
