Chart notes

COMMANDING GENERAL , four wide outside rivals prompting the pace, took closer order mid turn, sustained a grinding run under pressure past the three sixteenths, collared the leader leaving mid stretch, forged to command in deep stretch then went clear at the wire. ARISTOCRATIC vied two wide outside a rival then went clear into the turn, dug in when surrounded past mid stretch, fought gamely and held the place. AEQUOR lagged off the pace and was under a ride off the rail mid turn, swung six wide for the drive, straightened away, leveled off leaving mid stretch and quickly gained through the final fifty yards. ADDY'S LADDY T N T vied early inside a rival, eased back a bit into the turn, tracked in hand mid turn, worked through along the rail to challenge past mid stretch then flattened out late. GUAPO AGAIN (ARG) broke a step slow, angled out and rushed up, chased three to four wide past the five sixteenths then came up empty. BRIT'S CANDYMAN , three wide between runners forcing the pace, failed to kick on past the three sixteenths, faltered and was eased late.
