Chart notes
KERTEZ (GB) was firmly rated inside, swung four wide turning for home, closed outside and was up in the final strides. HARRY HOOD raced in range two and three wide, bid in midstretch, took the lead near the sixteenth pole, battled between foes and just missed. TAWNY PORT stalked the pace from the rail, tipped two wide near the quarter pole, angled back the rail in midstretch and rallied inside. PUBLIC SECTOR (GB) hit the starting gate, prompted the pace two wide, took the lead near the quarter pole, led to the sixteenth marker and was outfinished. LUCKY CURLIN raced off the pace three wide, went five wide around the far turn and was one-paced through the lane. CANDIDATE was bumped at the start, set the pace along the rail and tired in the drive. STREET READY was bumped at the start, chased the pace three and four wide and retreated around the far turn.
