Chart notes
RIGHT ON RICHIE vied with STORM BIRD for the lead from along the outside, opened a clear lead entering the stretch and gradually drew clear. UNIFIED WEEKEND saved ground stalking the pace, came three-wide into the stretch and while unable to reach the winner was clearly second best. MIDNIGHT BLUE NOTE was forwardly placed while racing three-wide, came five-wide into the stretch and finished well for third in a steady effort. STORM BORN vied with RIGHT ON RICHIE for the lead from along the inside to the stretch and weakened. NOBLE PURSUIT was allowed to settle early, came three-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. PERFECT WAGER saved ground while being unhurried, came four-wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. SON OF GRACE dropped back while racing three-wide and was not a factor.
