Chart notes
WATERWORKS raced in the three path around the first turn, led the way up the backstretch, saved ground around the far bend, drifted out in upper stretch, bumping with VILLAGE QUEEN near the eighth pole and held clear to the wire. VILLAGE QUEEN saved ground early, chased the leader up the backstretch, navigated the second turn from the two party, bumped with WATERWORKS in midstretch when that rival drifted into her lane and chased on from there. CAPTURE MY DREAMS raced in the four path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the three path and kept on in the lane. MISTY GALE raced off the pace through the opening half mile, continued around the far turn still in the three path and showed no kick. TRUE ATKA raced in the two path around the first bend, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack on the inside, navigated the far turn still in the two path and was outkicked in the stretch. FOXGLOVE raced off the pace in the two path around the first turn and up the backstretch, saved ground around the second bend and made no bid. THE RIDER OF HORSE ONE, VILLAGE QUEEN, CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST HORSE THREE, WATERWORKS, CITING INTERFERENCE IN MIDSTRETCH. UPON REVIEW, HORSE THREE, WATERWORKS, WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED SECOND FOR INTERFERENCE.
