Chart notes
GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME raced in the two path early, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, began a bid from the four path coming around the second bend, kicked clear entering the stretch and just held off a closer at the wire. GULF COAST GIRL raced off the pace on the outside through the opening half mile, swung out to the four path coming around the far turn, began a bid approaching the quarter pole and gained ground late to just miss. ARCHIVIST bumped with IDA DE NILE while racing in the four path around the first turn, stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the far bend from the three path and chased on in the lane. LITERATI raced in the two path around the first turn, chased the leader up the backstretch, came around the far bend in the two path and chased on from there. WORTH THE SUM raced off the pace on the inside through the opening half mile, came around the second bend in the three path and improved position in the stretch. CASUAL CAUSE raced in the two path around the first turn, trailed the field up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the three path, began a bid approaching the quarter pole and was outkicked in the stretch. SOUTHERN COTTON saved ground early, led the way up the backstretch, gave way while racing in the two path around the turn and continued to fade from there. BAHAMIAN BABY saved ground around the first turn, tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the two path and tired in the lane. IDA DE NILE bumped with ARCHIVIST while racing in the three path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, saved ground around the second bend and was empty from there.
