Chart notes
AVENUE was allowed to settle out of the gate and raced two wide around the first turn, continued well rated off the early leaders through middle stages, made a quick move four wide to challenge for the lead at the quarter pole, dueled outside of REALLY GOOD down the stretch, dug in gamely, shook free and kicked clear. REALLY GOOD raced in range through early stages, picked up the pace leaving the backstretch, advanced to challenge for command late on the final turn, dueled inside of AVENUE down the lane but could not match strides late. SILVER QUARTERS was unhurried two wide through mid-stages, hustled along four wide late on the final turn, sustained bid through the lane and got up late for show. ENGLISH CHALLENGE got pinched back at the start and remained reserved through the backstretch, picked up the tempo mid-way around the final turn, angled inside in upper stretch and got edged for show. VALUE ENGINEERING raced off the pace, urged for response around the final turn, angled in a sixteenth out, gained position then ran on evenly. BIRD KING rated off the early leaders, urged two wide on the final turn, shifted to the inside and flattened out. COMMON BOND raced in range, urged for response on the final turn then gave way in the lane. MALTHAEL settled early, hustled three wide into stretch and failed to threaten. MUTAKATIF (IRE) raced in range, bid through the turn then gave way in the lane. CHANTRY FLATS tracked inside, failed to respond around the final turn and faded. COLBALOAF sped to the lead at the start, set the pace by a clear advantage through the backstretch then came up empty late on the far turn.
