Chart notes
LITTLE TOY GUNS went up to press the pace three wide after a quarter, made the lead two wide nearing the quarter pole, repelled multiple challenges through the stretch and proved best in a stiff drive. LEROYISALAGNIAPPE never far back, circled rivals four wide into the stretch, drew on even terms for the lead nearing the furlong marker and was denied. CAVALETTO with the second flight along the inside, shifted out four wide entering the stretch and improved position late. EAGLE NEST battled for the lead along the inside through the clubhouse turn, dropped back a bit, came on again through upper stretch then leveled off in the final stages. HARTSTEIN dueled for the lead two wide around the first bend, made the lead, set a pressured pace along the inside to the quarter pole and gave way in the stretch.
