VEGAS WEEKEND chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking three wide into the turn, advanced on the duel up front and took over command near the quarter pole, swung four wide into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was collared nearing the eighth pole, proved no match for the top one while running along clear for the place honors. JOLLY MISS JILL dueled three then two wide with CUPIDS GIRL to her inside, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung three wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. PEACHY WEACHY chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn under coaxing from the three-eighths, swung six to seven wide into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. JOEY THE FISH grew detached at the tail of the field early on while three wide, came under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, swung five wide into upper stretch, passed tired rivals. CUPIDS GIRL coaxed from the gate, dueled from the two path with JOLLY MISS JILL to her outside, tucked inside through the turn coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, yielded the front near the quarter pole and spun just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. GRINGOTTS came in bumping a foe after the start twice, chased seven paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking three then two wide through the turn, took the inside route into upper stretch and made no impact.
