Chart notes
LA CUMPARSITA set the pace under pressure to midway on the turn, lost the lead to the runner-up, cut the corner, dug-in gamely and came back again to prevail in a duel through the stretch. CANTHO pressed the pace from two wide on the turn, took command midway on the bend to be clear turning for home, responded when re-engaged by the winner and was outkciked in deep stretch in a good effort. BEING CREATIVE unhurried early to be the trailer, rallied nearing the quarter pole, was fanned nine wide at the top of the lane and closed with a belated rally. BELLAVALENCIA well placed stalking the leaders into the turn, loomed from four wide at the quarter pole and finihsed evenly coming home. CONTESSINA tracked the leaders through the turn, made a seven wide bid at the top of the stretch and failed to gain through the lane. C C'S WORLD chased the pacesetters through the turn and failed to mount a closing bid.
