Chart notes

MUSICAL RHAPSODY (IRE) content to chased along the rail to the final turn, advanced from along the rail around that bend, angled out three then four wide, into the stretch, roused in the drive, inhaled inside rivals passing sixteenth marker and edged away in well-timed trip. VINCERO GRANDE stalked from along the rail, moved up around the final turn, bid passing eighth marker, gained brief lead, drifted out later in the drive, bumped with MIRARI then edged away in final yards for second. MIRARI secured the rail early and dictated the pace, set pressured pace into the stretch and tipping out to two path, was bumped and forced out by inside rival past sixteenth marker and out finished for the place. CORNELIA FORT caught six wide leaving the hill, stalked four then three wide to the stretch, continued well off the rail and gained minor award. FREEDOM LASS attended the pace outside leader for the opening mile, bid outside same rival in upper stretch, continued three deep in the drive, was forced out by MIRARI past sixteenth marker and also out finished. LUMINIFEROUS between rivals early, then chased three deep, angled in bit later and lacked needed response in the lane. LADY CLAYPOOLE (IRE) between rivals chasing the pace, remained on same path to the last turn, came two wide into the stretch and weakened. YARBOROUGH was reserved in the early going, chased four wide, continued four deep into the backstretch, later came in some but failed to threaten, THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INVOLVING THE INCIDENT IN THE STRETCH AND DID NOT ALTER THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
