Chart notes
SITKA broke on top, narrowly set a pressured pace along the inside, held the runner up at bay the length of the stretch under steady handling. SUPERHERO pressed the winner in the two path throughout, could not get by despite brisk handling. TEXAS SPLURGE broke back, raced three wide through the turn, proved no match for the top two in the drive. TWIRLING TROILLET fractious in the gate, one paced toward the inside in lacking a closing response. INTERRUPTER moved up to race within striking distance backstretch, continued to race forwardly and three wide through the turn, came up empty for the stretch run. RED RIZZLER off a step slow, trailed throughout while working way toward the inside through the turn.
