Chart notes
MELODY WIN chased the leader between horses up the backstretch, came around the turn in the three path, bumped with AWESOME FANTASY in upper stretch and edged clear from there. AWESOME FANTASY settled in the middle of the pack through the opening quarter, began a bid from the four path coming around the turn, drifted in mildly and bumped with MELODY WIN in upper stretch, and gained ground in the final furlong. WHY NOT ME led the way up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path, was caught in the lane and chased on to the wire. LATIN FORCE raced off the pace on the inside early, navigated the turn from the three path and improved position in the lane. IDLE UNION tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, came around the bend in the two path and was outkicked in the stretch. READY FOR ACTION trailed the field up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and never threatened. MITOLE'S WISH stalked the leader on the outside through the opening quarter, continued around the turn in the four path and faded in the lane. MIDNIGHT CHEER raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and was empty from there. THE RIDER OF HORSE SIX, AWESOME FANTASY, CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST HORSE FOUR, MELODY WIN, CITING INTERFERENCE IN UPPER STRETCH. UPON REVIEW, NO CHANGES WERE MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH.
