Chart notes
WOODSONG'S CASTLE settled back in the three path the first turn, made up ground leaving the three eighths pole and rallied to striking position in the four path on the far turn, dug in to take over past the eighth pole and extended her lead late yards. MEDWAY QUEEN rated the pace inside, came under pressure toward the quarter pole, raced at the rail on the far turn, was met past the eighth pole and dueled to mid-stretch before relenting. STRONG WILLED raced in the three path the first turn, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the five path and dueled through the stretch for third. SMOKIN LADY raced with the early pace inside then stalked off the rail, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail and flattened in the lane. WE'LL SEE raced off the rail the first turn, gave chase into the backstretch, rounded the far turn about the six path and showed little in the lane. LIME AFTER LIME saved ground, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn and weakened. SO RED THE ROSE saved ground. SALTY SAUL raced in the four path the first turn, left the turn outside and was not a factor.
