Chart notes
Z MYSTIQUE came in on the chute then rated a slim lead, edged away through the turn and was steadily handled in the lane. ROBBEDINTHEBAHAMAS gave chase, rounded the turn near the rail and dueled through the stretch for second. TAPPEDWITHSUCCESS gave chase, rounded the turn in the four and five paths, dug in from the head of the lane and got up for third the final strides. BAYTOWN ADMIRAL was pinched back on the chute then gave chase, rounded the turn about the four path and was outfinished in the duel through the stretch. BESOTTED was crowded on the chute then gave chase toward the outside, raced in the six path on the turn and ran evenly in the lane. COOLKID came out on the chute then gave chase, raced off the rail on the turn and flattened mid-stretch. GETTIN SPICY became anxious in the gate, gave chase and saved ground on the turn. BRAVE SAND RIDER was shut off on the chute then angled to the outside to give chase, but flattened in the three path on the turn. The Stewards reviewed a claim of foul against the rider of Z Mystique for interference on the chute, lodged by the rider of Brave Sand Rider, though took no action.
