Chart notes
SHATTUCK four wide into the first turn, void of speed, swung six wide turning for home, rallied, outside bid past the furlong marker, vied to the wire, gained the nod at the wire. HIGGINSVILLE dropped inside first turn, continued to save ground into and through the second turn, in some traffic entering the stretch, rail bid past the furlong marker, just missed. GREERS FERRY within striking distance inside, shuffled back along the rail into the far turn, moved out a bit late in the turn, challenged between horses with a furlong remaining, also missed. GOTTA HAVE DREAMS lacked speed, continued back, raced three to four wide second turn, came five wide for the drive, improved position while not a threat to the top three. MOHAWK RIVER early pace inside after away in good order, relinquished the advantage first turn, chased up the backstretch, bid 2nd, faltered drive. STRUCTURED forwardly placed early while three wide, continued three wide second turn, went evenly in the drive. VINCITA in the second flight while racing off the inside, lacked a closing kick. SILVER TONE back off the pace toward the inside, failed to rally. MO MESA was finished after a half, well back. VICTORY DASH took over from between horses early in the first turn, set the pace the middle half then stopped when headed entering the stretch.
