Chart notes
YES I'M A BEAST was sent to an early lead racing up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path and held clear to wire. HE'S IN CHARGE stalked the leader on the outside through the opening stages, began a bid from the four path coming around the turn and chased on to the finish. HERCULES was away from the gate slowly and bumped with the horse to his outside, settled off the pace for the run up the backstretch, navigated the bend from the four path and improved position in the lane. ASTRONAUT OSCAR bumped with the horse to his inside at the start, recovered to track the leader on the rail up the backstretch, came around the turn in the three path and faded in the stretch. GONE NUTS raced off the pace on the inside early, swung out to the five path coming around the turn and made no bid. GREAT FACES raced in the middle of the pack up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and was empty in the lane.
