Chart notes
DAVID'S GEM away alertly, set all the pace and widened through the stretch to win as much the best while being ridden out. MUTUAL CONFIDENCE never far back, offered a mild bid inside rivals through upper stretch and gained second. GOLDEN SPOKE chased the winner from the inside then two wide through the turn, drifted to the six path, kept on but was outfinished for second. MALIBU CLASSIC close up near the inside, swung wide then finished evenly in the six path. KERANOS was no factor. ROCK ON KITTEN had brief speed.
