Chart notes
SCREW LOOSE bumped soundly with a rival at the start then dropped back early, was urged along near the rear, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn, shifted three wide at the quarter-pole then dropped back in behind a foe, rallied in the final furlong and closed strongly to get up in the final stride. ROYAL KING bumped soundly with a rival at the start then quickly sped clear, showed the way with a clear advantage through quick fractions, vied inside on the turn, came out into upper stretch, extended the advantage into the final furlong, drifted out while shortening stride outside sixteenth-pole, remained clear into the final sixteenth, swapped back to his inside lead just before the finish and was caught while able to hold the place. YOUBETTERBEJOKING was urged along between foes early then moved in after being taken briefly under light restraint, went two then three wide on the turn, was driven four wide into the stretch then moved further out, rallied outside in the final furlong and closed fast while able to get the show.
