Chart notes
TRANSFER THE FUNDS rounded the first turn about the five path then proceeded to save ground, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole and steadily improved from that point, entered the far turn at the rail, eased out nearing the head of the lane, dueled for the lead inside the eighth pole and raced clear mid-stretch. SCOTCH NO ROCKS took over nearing the seven eighths pole and rated the pace, was met past the half mile pole and dueled from that point, contested even terms at the rail on the far turn, was met leaving the eighth pole and relented in the duel through the stretch. TOP OF THE MINT angled in and made contact with Mark Did It leaving the gate then settled in the four path, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path and was along for third late yards. ANTIPOISON had the lead early then stalked toward the seven eighths pole, gave chase leaving the nine sixteenths pole, recovered a brief slim lead into the backstretch and dueled at even terms two deep on the far turn, though weakened in the lane. MARK DID IT broke awkwardly and was bumped leaving the gate and settled well back off the rail, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced in the four path on the far turn and could only improve his position. POLAR WIND settled off the rail early, eased out into the backstretch and picked up the chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, but raced wide on the far turn. LOOKIN FOR JUSTICE stalked into the backstretch, gave chase from the three eighths pole but weakened nearing the head of the lane. CAPE LOOKOUT settled in the three path the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole but faded approaching the far turn.
