MASTERPIECE DAY dueled on the early pace inside DILLON ROCKS, edged clear nearing the lane then held safe late as HOT STOVE LEAGUE rallied. HOT STOVE LEAGUE stalked the pace three and four wide, rallied in the lane but could not run down the winner. DILLON ROCKS dueled on the pace outside the winner and came up empty in the drive. GINGER RULES moved three and four wide but could not threaten late. GONE PREACHIN saved ground and moved up while not a threat. TIGER THE MAN was always back.
