Chart notes
WHOLE LOTTA LUTE saved ground setting the pace and maintained a safe advantage. CANYON SHADOWS prompted WHOLE LOTTA LUTE from the outset, could not reach that one but proved second best. PONTUS saved ground after breaking a step slow, slipped through during the drive and finished in a mild rally. GOD GUNS N GUTS was allowed to settle early, came six-wide into the stretch and rallied late. DOUBLE DRIBBLE saved ground while being reserved off the early pace but lacked a rally. TEMPLE FOOL saved ground while dropping back early and gradually improved his position. A P BLAZING GREEN chased the early pace and weakened. PONCHO ATTACK was close-up early and tired. RED PISTACHIO was reluctant to load then raced four-wide on the turn, came five-wide into the stretch and gave way.
