Chart notes
HUEY DUEY tracked the leaders four wide to bid into the lane and edged clear late. MYSTERIOUS TALE came out into the turn to rally three or four wide, closed late and gained the place. UNBOWED contested the lead inside a rival and came up empty late. LOVER BOY was along the inside and made a mild late run. MONTEREY PENINSULA was three or four wide and steadied into the turn as WILD FIREMAKER took up then failed to threaten late. WILD FIREMAKER was shut off into the turn as a rival came out and checked hard then could not recover. WILLET KINDA NIGHT showed speed from three wide and weakened in the lane.
