Chart notes
MEKELE pressed the pace two wide, took the lead between foes in upper stretch and dug in through the lane to prevail. BOLD AMBITION raced in range inside, angled three wide near the five-sixteenths marker, bid between foes near the quarter pole, vied between through the lane and held second. GOODSTONE was off a step slow, raced in range inside, steadied nearing the seven-sixteenths pole, angled four wide soon after, rallied outside and just missed second. UNEQUIVOCALLY set the pace along the rail, led to upper stretch and tired. BIVOL was outrun while racing four wide. CARENTAN played no factor while racing three wide.
