Chart notes
MAN O ROSE dueled for the lead from outside, inched ahead on the turn before putting away inner rival at the quarter pole, opened up under hand urging and a showing up the crop and was geared down approaching the wire. PRINCIP settled along the inside, came off the rail into the stretch, split foes at the eighth pole and bested the rest. HARD TO FIGURE dueled inside MAN O ROSE for the lead, kept the pressure on to the five-sixteenths pole, lost touch with a quarter mile left to run and churned on to save third. FIFTH STREET bothered inner rival leaving the gate, stalked the top pair three wide into the turn, spun four wide into the stretch and weakened. SULLY bumped with POP D'ORO in the beginning, stalked the dueling leaders two wide into the turn, exited the bend three wide and also weakened. POP D'ORO bumped between rivals at the start, raced outside a rival at the back, trailed two wide into the lane and could not make an impact.
