COAST ALONG sped to the front, showed the way on the inside with a clear advantage, was asked near the quarter-pole then came under a drive in upper stretch, led until near the sixteenth-pole then was collared by the winner, fought on to the finish but missed while clear for the place. BLACK DIAMOND was reserved in the two path under some restraint, came under urging on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed kick while able to get the show. KICK A BUCK was taken in hand early then moved in towards the rear, saved ground on the first turn, was unhurried towards the back, went three to four wide on the far turn, was asked for his best in upper stretch and improved position. TRIUMPHANT ROAD bumped with a rival at the start, tugged on the bit under strong restraint while in the two path through the first turn, was reserved while still into the bit, dropped from the two path to the rail while roused early on the far turn and also improved position. PARTY WITH SMARTY broke towards the rear while the rider fell back in the saddle, was rank under tight restraint into the first turn, saved ground while reserved off the pace, was roused on the final turn, moved to the two path late on that bend, came out into upper stretch, drifted out near the furlong marker and lacked the needed response. PRIMED TO GO went four wide on the first turn, was reserved on the outside, came under urging while four then five wide on the far turn and also failed to rally. GLINT went around the first turn in the three path, was reserved off the pace, dropped back leaving the backstretch, went three then two wide on the final turn and failed to threaten. BE THERE bumped with a foe at the start, went three wide on the first turn, settled towards the rear, was roused three wide on the far turn, came four wide into the stretch then moved further out and was no factor. BATTLE OF BRITAIN went around the first turn in the four path, was rated towards the front on the outside, came under urging while three to four wide on the far turn and tired. DANGEROUS DRIVER bumped with a foe at the start, went two to three wide on the turns and was no factor. FIRST TRUMPET raced in the three path on the first turn, followed the solo leader down the backstretch, was asked two then three wide on the far turn, paused in traffic near the five-sixteenths pole and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
