Chart notes
ICE BLAST prompted the pace two wide, dug in late under right handed urging and proved best by a narrow margin. KADESH away alertly, set a pressured pace along the inside, dug in gamely late and just missed hanging on. MY BROTHER CAM trailed around the clubhouse turn, moved up steadily along the inside through the second bend then leveled off. KERANOS settled two then three wide, dropped inside on the far turn and had a mild late gain. CANDY CRUSHEM failed to menace. ITASCA was under strong restraint through the clubhouse turn, remained a forward factor for six furlongs then wilted. MALIBU CLASSIC was through early.
