Chart notes
CALIFORNIA CODE saved ground on the opening turn, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn in the three path, dug in leaving the turn and took the lead later yards. MRS. SPEAKER rounded the first turn about the five path, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole, took the lead two deep leaving the far turn and dug in under steady handling, but was caught in later yards. TIDBIT stalked two deep the first turn, challenged leaving the seven sixteenths pole, took the lead nearing the three eighths pole and contested the edge nearest the rail on the far turn, was met entering the stretch and remained a factor to mid-stretch before flattening stride. COAL'S MAGNOLIA raced in the four path the first turn, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path then flattened in the lane. STATELY APRIL saved ground on the first turn, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail then flattened in the lane. SELES rated a slim lead inside, came under pressure leaving the seven sixteenths pole, was met toward the three eighths and gave chase from that point, but dropped back approaching the quarter pole then flattened at the rail on the far turn. LOVE NOTION showed little response through the backstretch. SANDY BULLET settled off the rail the first turn, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole then flattened in the three path on the far turn. HEY MACARENA rounded the first turn in the three path, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole but weakened off the rail on the far turn.
