DON'T CROSS JACK took an immediate lead and rated the pace inside, came under pressure nearing the quarter pole, raced just off the rail on the far turn and held well with steady handling. ONLY GET'N BETTER settled off the rail the first turn, picked up the chase leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail and dug in through the lane to take second late yards. SCHMEAR rated close off the rail, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole, raced in contention in the three path on the far turn but was outfinished for second later yards. BUSHWICK BRUISER saved early ground, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole and improved position off the rail on the far turn. CHROME HEIR saved ground racing well back, gave chase into the backstretch, raced in the four and five paths on the far turn and showed little in the lane. STAVANGER stalked the earlier pace two deep, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn and weakened into the lane. AKINGISALWAYSKING raced in the six path the first turn, left the turn outside and showed little response. BON BUENO rounded the first turn about the four path, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole but weakened widest on the far turn. LET FREEDOM SPRING stalked from the four path the first turn, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole but faded in the four path on the far turn. MAILMAN'S A FLYER raced in the three path the first turn, gave chase into the backstretch but was pulled up with a fatal injury near the quarter pole and had to be euthanized on the track.
