FUNKENSTEIN settled off the pace, saved ground while roused on the turn, rallied to make a bid into the stretch then came outward, fought inside of two opponents into the final furlong, gained the advantage outside the sixteenth-pole and prevailed under strong urging. DADDY KNOWS was coaxed to the front, contested the pace on the inside of a foe while off the inside, vied in the two path under extra left-rein pressure around most of the turn then moved to the three path, fought on well in upper stretch, battled between horses into the final furlong, swapped back to his inside lead at the sixteenth-pole, switched back to the proper lead while fighting on late and missed while able to get the place. DURKIN'S CALL moved in entering the main-track, settled off the pace, dropped further in late on the backstretch then came out into the turn, was roused while four then five wide on that bend, rallied outside to make a bid into the stretch, fought outside of the top two into the final sixteenth and was outfinished while clear for the show. ANYTHING PAZIBLE settled on the inside, was roused while saving ground on the turn, turned into the stretch in the two path and improved position without threatening. MY FRIENDS BEER showed speed between horses then dropped back near the five-eighths pole, raced just off the pace from that point, was urged in the three path on the turn, came five wide into upper stretch, remained on his inside lead in the drive and weakened. HEY PORTER dropped back while sent hard from the gate then ridden along off the pace, went four wide on the turn and was no factor. PRINCE OF JOY showed speed between horses, contested the pace on the outside of a rival starting near the five-eighths pole, vied in the three path for most of the turn then moved to the four path and tired. HANG TIGHT was urged along towards the rear, rounded most of the turn in the two path then shifted to the three path, came seven wide into upper stretch and failed to threaten. NOBODYRIDESFORFREE showed speed on the outside then dropped back with five furlongs to run, tracked outside from that juncture, chased in the four path on the turn, spun five wide into the stretch then came further out and had nothing left.
