PENGUIN PARADE took over while angling to the inside and rated the pace, kept the edge over JUBA'S HAT TRICK leaving the seven sixteenths pole, contested the advantage off the rail on the far turn but gave up the lead mid-stretch and relented later yards. The latter stalked inside, challenged leaving the seven sixteenths pole and contested near even terms at the rail on the far turn, remained a factor through the upper stretch but weakened the final sixteenth. SISYPHUS saved ground, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn then eased out leaving the eighth pole and flattened stride mid-stretch. VAGABOND VIRGIN was jostled leaving the gate and raced off the rail the first turn, left the turn outside and picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the three path, eased out leaving the turn but weakened in the lane. DON'TCALLTOOEARLY broke in and made contact with Vagabond Virgin then settled in the three path, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole but showed little response.
