Chart notes
HAP HOT vied for the early lead two deep from the outside of rival, dug in and held safe under strong handling. MISTER CHAIRMAN stalked the pace, moved up four wide near the quarter pole, raced from the outside in the stretch run and kept on gamely to the wire. CAPTIVATED DRAMA prompt the early leader from the inside, angled out through the upper stretch and finished gamely to the wire. SHADOWLESS dropped back early, raced three wide in the stretch drive and had no final winning bid. ELIOT NESS chased the top pair from the inside and weakened near the rail through the drive. SAY IT NICELY settled off the early going, raced four wide around the far turn and had no response.
