Chart notes
TALKING TEDDY took an immediate lead and angled to the inside to show the way, came under pressure nearing the five sixteenths pole, rounded the turn at the rail and was kept alert in the lane. ON A WHIM gave chase inside, rounded the turn at the rail, dug in leaving the turn and dueled through later yards for second. DOG TOWN ALLEN gave chase, raced in the three path on the turn and was outfinished for second later yards. HE'S CLEVER chased the early pace inside, angled to the five path through the turn, finished well outside but came back appearing a bit sore. BOP ZAPPER gave chase, rounded the turn about the three path and ran evenly in the lane. J. WICK broke inward and made contact with Monkey Wrench then gave chase, rounded the turn about the four path and showed little in the lane. METALLIC CAT exchanged contact with MONKEY WRENCH leaving the gate then gave chase, rounded the turn near the rail and weakened in the stretch. The latter exchanged contact with Metallic Cat leaving the gate and was jostled sharply afterward, angled to the outside to give chase and raced in the four path on the turn.
