Chart notes
MESSIER vied for the early lead two wide, made a two wide bid on the turn to shake clear by the quarter pole, then widened the margin by the furlong maker, and held POST TIME off late to prove best. POST TIME was reserved early on the inside, advanced midway on the turn and came two wide off the turn, then angled out for racing room by the furlong marker and closed the gap late. CHARGE IT stalked the early pace four wide, made a three wide bid by the quarter pole but flattened out in the drive while staying on to clearly best the rest. WINIT tracked the pace three wide early, then was three to four wide on the turn but faded in the drive. DR ARDITO was bumped slightly at the start, settled back early, saved ground on the turn, swung out six wide leaving the turn but had no rally. WHITTINGTON PARK was settled early on the outside, then was wide on the turn and never threatened. ADERO vied for the lead on the inside and gave way on the turn.
